Business Support Organisations (BSOs – organisations such as Chambers of Commerce, sectorial and other business associations) have a key role to play in supporting small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) through the provision of business advice and support services to their members, as well as promoting a favourable business environment by representing SME interests in public-private policy dialogue.
EU4Business supports BSOs both at a regional level – through the East Invest projects – and at national level, through a series of bilateral projects that have worked to build BSO capacity and support public-private dialogue.
