DCFTA SME Direct Finance Facility
Investment focus:
Aimed at businesses generating over EUR 1 million in turnover
This programme is designed to improve access to finance for small and medium-sized enterprises, provide long-term financing in local currency, help SMEs identify investments in new business opportunities and assist them in their successful implementation.
The Facility combines €69 million of direct loans from the EBRD to SMEs, with EU financial support for direct SME financing, which seeks to improve access to finance by providing guarantee schemes (€9 million) and technical assistance (€1 million) to increase the number of viable projects carried out by SMEs.
