Eastern Partnership: Ready to Trade - an EU4Business initiative
The project provides analysis of selected value chains and export market opportunities for SMEs, coaching, training and business advisory services to selected businesses, support to sectoral BSOs, support for participation in trade fairs, B2B and study visits, and facilitation of linkages.
Two main sectors have been retained for possible support in Azerbaijan: agro-processed food (processed fruits and vegetables, dried fruits, wine and hazelnuts) and light manufacturing (carpets, silk scarfs, handicrafts, other). Support is directed to helping companies access the EU market through targeted capacity-building, advisory services and market access activities. Given the limited opportunities for Azerbaijani producers in EU market, the project may also consider the EaP market for promotion activities.
