Support for SMEs > Access to knowledge

The project provides analysis of selected value chains and export market opportunities for SMEs, coaching, training and business advisory services to selected businesses, support to sectoral BSOs, support for participation in trade fairs, B2B and study visits, and facilitation of linkages.

In Armenia, the project primarily supports the agro-processing sector, focusing on processed fruits and vegetables, dried fruits and vegetables, and herbs/teas, assisting exporting and export-ready SMEs along the whole value chain, helping them in producing value added goods in accordance with international and EU market requirements, and linking with EU markets. The support will be directed to helping companies access the EU market, through targeted capacity-building, advisory services and market access activities. The project will also have lighter interventions in the apparel and IT sectors, and there is also some targeted assistance to BSOs.
