The DCFTA Initiative East supports local banks to help them improve lending terms and conditions for small businesses looking to invest in modern and innovative technology that will allow them to become more competitive on European markets; it also supports lending for the very smallest businesses – micro-enterprises with under 10 employees – and it provides advice and business support services to the agri-food sector, helping farmers and entrepreneurs to produce high value crops and quality products that can gain full access to the international market.
