The Centre for the Promotion of Imports from developing countries of the Netherlands (CBI), in partnership with the International Trade Centre (ITC), and the Ukrainian Berries Association (UBA) will be organising a one-day training session in Kyiv on 20 June on branding, packaging and labelling for Ukrainian export-oriented berry producers entering the EU market.
The event will be held in the framework of the Eastern Partnership: Ready to Trade project, funded by the EU in the framework of its EU4Business initiative.
The main objective of the training session is to raise the awareness of Ukrainian berry-producing SMEs regarding actual marketing trends and peculiarities, enabling them to address sustainable development and global market requirements.
Project beneficiaries will get recommendations on EU certifications, distribution channels, and buyer marking and packaging requirements.
The training session will be given by Pieter Schotel, CBI consultant, and owner of Fruit Consultancy Europe B.V. Mr. Schotel has extensive experience in marketing, sales, business strategy and development.
The Eastern Partnership: Ready to Trade project helps small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) to access new markets with a focus on the EU, helping SMEs identify and comply with quality and standards to meet international requirements, linking them with buyers along the value chain, and providing cluster support.
