The Kyiv Business Support Centre is hosting a workshop on 29 May on ‘Current issues of SME security in the field of labour and tax relations’. The event is organised with the support of the EBRD as part of the EU4Business initiative.
The purpose of the event is to promote the security of economic activities conducted by SMEs by informing their representatives about legal protections during inspections on compliance with the requirements of labour and tax legislation.
The topics of the workshop are as follows:
- statutory regulation of labour legislation requirements;
- how to protect yourself from unjustified claims by labour inspectors;
- practical and methodological aspects of formalising business relations;
- current judicial practicein tax disputes;
- state control of SME activity;
- how to protect the intellectual property of the company.
The Kyiv Business Support Centre is part of the EU-funded Network of Business Support Centres, which aims to improve the competitiveness and bankability of Ukrainian SMEs through the provision of business advice and capacity building. It also supports BSOs in 15 regions of Ukraine in setting up a network of EU4Business Business Support Centres (BSCs). At least 30,000 SMEs and entrepreneurs will benefit from the project.
