This report produced by the EU4Business Ready to Trade project, implemented by the International Trade Centre, presents an overview of the Moldovan machine-building sector and is based on secondary data, collected via 1) desk research, and 2) primary data, collected via a survey.
The desk research was conducted based on the information from the National Bureau of Statistics andthe UN Comtrade website and includes data on the three sectors – 1) rubber-plastic-metal products, as potential components for the machine-building industry, 2) the machine-building industry and 3) the sector of companies rendering adjacent services.
The survey was conducted with the goal to collect information from the top representatives of the machine-building sector in order to present the companies in a brochure meant to inform potential foreign investors.
