Ukraine will be represented at the FOODEX Japan trade fair outside Tokyo from 5-8 March, with a Ukrainian pavilion financed as part of the EU4Business initiative and supported by the EBRD and the FAO.
In addition to boosting exports of Ukrainian agrarian and food products to Japan, this exhibition opens the door to other Asian markets in Korea, Taiwan and China.
The exhibition is the main communication platform between manufacturers, distributors and final consumers in the region. According to the organizers, 3,500 exhibitors from 78 countries, and 8,500 visitors will participate in this exhibition during 5-8 March.
According to the Export Strategy of Ukraine, Japan is among the top 20 most promising countries in terms of developing bilateral trade and economic cooperation.
