An event is being organised by the Kharkiv Business Support Centre on 21 February to present the opportunities available to SMEs from the EBRD, as part of the EU4Business initiative.
The purpose of the meeting is to inform SMEs about how they can get funding for consulting projects provided by the EBRD as part of EU4Business.
Within the grant support programme, the EBRD helps SMEs attract highly qualified local consultants, capable of transforming their business qualitatively, and provides grants for partial compensation of consultants’ fees. EBRD business advisory services have already supported about 1,000 SMEs since 2010 in Ukraine.
The Kharkiv Business Support Centre is part of the EU-funded Network of Business Support Centres, which aims to improve the competitiveness and bankability of Ukrainian SMEs through the provision of business advice and capacity building. It also supports BSOs in 15 regions of Ukraine in setting up a network of EU4Business Business Support Centres (BSCs). At least 30,000 SMEs and entrepreneurs will benefit from the project.
