A first Task Force meeting will take place in Tbilisi on 27 February to discuss the scope of the project on conducting an Investment Policy Review (IPR) of Georgia, carried out by the OECD as part of the EU-funded project ‘EU4Business: From Policies to Action’.
The Task Force meeting will be chaired by George Kobulia, Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development.
The OECD's Head of Investment Policy Reviews at the Directorate for Financial and Enterprise Affairs, Stephen Thomsen will lead a presentation of the steps and scope of the OECD Investment Policy Review project, including:
- OECD Policy Framework for Investment
- Examples of OECD Investment Policy Reviews
- Practical steps in undertaking an IPR in Georgia
EU4Business: From Policies to Action is a regional project implemented by the OECD, which supports competitiveness and business environment reforms in the Eastern Partnership countries, working both at country and regional level.
