The Rivne Business Support Centre is organising a training on 'design thinking for product development', taking pace from 28 February to 2 March, with the support of the EBRD and the EU4Business initiative.
During the workshop, participants will solve real business cases, applying five steps of design thinking. They will also try to create an entirely new solution for their clients and identify their true needs.
The training format includes practical exercises in small groups, case studies and mini-lectures.
During the workshop participants will learn how to:
- insure the company from losses caused by bringing unnecessary products and services to the market;
- identify human needs and problems through conducting research, and generate new ideas during brainstorming;
- start adding more empathy to the company's culture in order to meet the needs of consumers/users better;
- use applied prototyping and testing of ideas with the target audience.
The Rivne Business Support Centre is part of the EU-funded Network of Business Support Centres, implemented in Ukraine by the EBRD, with the aim of improving improve the competitiveness and bankability of Ukrainian SMEs through the provision of business advice and capacity building. At least 30,000 SMEs and entrepreneurs will benefit from the project.
