A round table on the ‘e-commerce market in Ukraine’ is being organised by the Better Regulation Delivery Office (BRDO) in Kyiv on 5 December, at which the BRDO will present its Green Paper on the issue.
The BRDO is funded by the European Union within the framework of the FORBIZ project and the EU4Business Initiative, with the aim of simplifying the process of doing business and providing effective state regulation in key sectors of the economy.
The purpose of the event is to discuss ways of overcoming the barriers that restrain the development of the e-commerce market in Ukraine.
The main topics of discussion (full agenda) will include:
- How to transform a check into an effective tool of customer protection rather than a threat for business?
- The principle of e-commerce: restriction of national market or freedom of international trade?
- How to protect consumer rights if it is impossible to define the seller?
- Presentation of Green Paper: “E-commerce market in Ukraine”
