Startup Boost Weekend: Armenian students invited to apply

Startup Boost Weekend 2018
 |
01/12/2018 to 02/12/2018

The EU4Business SMEDA project is supporting the third Startup Boost Weekend in Armenia from 1-2 December, 2018. This time, the weekend will be held at the National Polytechnic University in Yerevan for around 120 students from 5 other universities that have partnered within the SBW initiative.

The Startup Boost Weekend is a 48-hour event to promote entrepreneurial thinking among students. During the two days of the event, students from different universities will have the opportunity to work together, create teams, generate ideas and try to implement them through integration into startup culture. Participants will have a chance to meet and work with experienced mentors, entrepreneurs, and investors.  The best projects will be awarded with prizes.

The event is a unique opportunity for students with different skills – software developers, designers, entrepreneurs, marketers, product managers, startup enthusiasts – to come together to team up and build new startups.

The EU4Business SMEDA (Support to SME Development in Armenia) project supports the improvement of the business and investment climate for SMEs in Armenia. It aims to strengthen the private sector, support SME coordination mechanisms, and foster links between research institutions and the private sector, as well as providing access to finance for SMEs.
