A new edition of Moldova Business Week will take place from 27-29 November in Chisinau. The event is now into on its fifth edition, after first debuting in 2013.
The Government of Moldova, through the Moldovan Agency of Investments, invites participants to its annual platform for information and best practices exchange.
The conference represents a step forward for the Republic of Moldova to present its alignment with global trends and its implementation of economic development policies. This year, the forum aims to enhance existing partnerships and address new challenges in the context of global connectivity, while capitalizing on the country’s strategic geographic position. The Republic of Moldova aims to provide the business environment with access to the Euro-Asian markets, thus creating a commercial bridge between the two continents.
The agenda includes progress updates in all strategic sectors of the national economy. However, the premiere topic will be tourism as one of the engines for the country brand promotion, the Republic of Moldova having been awarded the title of 2018 ”World Capital of Wine Tourism”. Other topics include the progress of the national economy, e-government, energy and infrastructure. The event will provide active tools for information transfer and experience exchange through: networking sessions, workshops, bilateral forums and technical visits.
Confirmed speakers to date include Prime Minister Pavel Filip, Minister of Economy and Infrastructure Chiril Gaburici,and Governor of the National Bank Sergiu Ciocolea, as well as several other ministers and heads of national investment agencies.
The organizers of the forum are expecting over 1,000 participants including high dignitaries, business leaders and foreign ambassadors.
