The Kyiv Business Support Centre is organising a workshop for SMEs on entering the EU market, which will take place on 27 November with the support of the EBRD as part of theEU4Business initiative.
The main purpose of the event is to inform owners and managers of SMEs about ways and methods of entering the EU market including partner search, certification, distribution, intellectual property, investments and innovations.
The topics of the workshop are as follows:
- State export support mechanism; promotion of Ukrainian products on the European market;
- How to succeed in international joint ventures;
- Export of goods and services: search for counterparts in the course of reorientation from the CIS to the EU;
- Business abroad: breaking the myths;
- Strategic planning for entering new markets in the form of investment project;
- Organisational aspects of entering the EU market;
- Establishing contacts with trade missions of foreign embassies in Ukraine.
The Kyiv Business Support Centre is part of the EU-funded Network of Business Support Centres, which aims to improve the competitiveness and bankability of Ukrainian SMEs through the provision of business advice and capacity building. It also supports BSOs in 15 regions of Ukraine in setting up a network of EU4Business Business Support Centres (BSCs). At least 30,000 SMEs and entrepreneurs will benefit from the project.
