The International Trade Centre (ITC) in partnership with the Ukrainian Berries Association (UBA) is organising a one-day training in Kyiv on 1 October on how to increase a business’s impact when taking part in exhibitions and trade fairs. The training is taking place in the framework of the EU-funded project ‘Eastern Partnership: Ready to Trade –an EU4Business initiative’.
The main objective of the training is to provide practical recommendations on how Ukrainian berry companies can efficiently increase their business by participating at international exhibitions/trade fairs.
The training’s agenda includes:
1) exhibitors’ check-list;
2) marketing analysis of own product competitiveness;
3) selection of the most relevant exhibition/trade fair;
4) exhibition/trade fair preparation stages;
5) attraction of potential buyers to the exhibition stand;
6) communication with potential customers during exhibition/trade fair;
7) exhibition/trade fair outcomes and efficiency analysis;
8) Q&A session.
The lecturer will be an ITC expert with profound experience in business development, strategic management, marketing and sales.
From 21-25 October, the ITC and the UBA will be organising the participation of a selected group of Ukrainian berry SMEs in the Salon International de l'Agroalimentaire (SIAL) in Paris, the largest food innovation exhibition in the world.
The Eastern Partnership: Ready to Trade project helps small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) to access new markets with a focus on the EU, helping SMEs identify and comply with quality and standards to meet international requirements, linking them with buyers along the value chain, and providing cluster support.
