A round table on the the development of services related to small shipbuilding is being organised on 6 June by the Mykolaiv Business Support Centre, together with the EBRD as part of the EU4Business initiative.
The Mykolaiv BSC invites stakeholders in the sector to take part in the round table, which is titled ‘Service cluster of small vessels’. It will discuss the development of the concept of a Small Vessels Service, including theory and practice in the areas of: designing ships and yacht clubs, building small vessels and piers, ship repair, arranging parking and servicing of small ships, infrastructure development, preparation of the necessary legislative base and staffing.
The Mykolaiv Business Support Centre is part of the EU-funded Network of Business Support Centres, implemented in Ukraine by the EBRD, with the aim of improving improve the competitiveness and bankability of Ukrainian SMEs through the provision of business advice and capacity building. At least 30,000 SMEs and entrepreneurs will benefit from the project.
