A workshop takes place in Rivne on 3 April, organised by the RIvne Business Support Centre, aimed at entrepreneurs who work on orders and want to learn techniques to ensure all orders are completed on time. The event is with the support of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) under the EU4Business initiative.
The one-day workshop on‘Application of the theory of constraints for manufacturers when they fill orders’ aims to show the entrepreneurs:
-how to increase the percentage of timely execution of orders up to 99%;
-how the system of monitoring potential bottlenecks works and how to expand it;
- how to change the current system of production efficiency assessment;
- how to speed up the execution of orders, and how to increase due-date performance;
- what are methods of reducing lead-time;
- a mechanism for progress of ongoing improvement or POOGI - how to launch it, how to use it, and how to invest in the future according to performance;
- how the work of the procurement department in the proposed solutions is built.
The training will be conducted by Andriy Kolotov, an expert in the Theory of Constraints.
The Rivne Business Support Centre is part of the EU-funded Network of Business Support Centres, implemented in Ukraine by the EBRD, with the aim of improving improve the competitiveness and bankability of Ukrainian SMEs through the provision of business advice and capacity building. At least 30,000 SMEs and entrepreneurs will benefit from the project.
