The Ivano-Frankivsk Business Support Centre with the support of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) under the EU4Business initiative is organising a forum on franchising, taking place in Lviv on 27 March.
The Forum – ‘Franchising: a recipe for business’ – looks at franchising from both sides of the business, selling a franchise and how best to implement one. The forum aims to:
- Share successful experience of business development through franchising.
- Organise an effective platform for business networking.
- Present a number of franchises that are relevant for Lviv and the region
Main topics of discussion include:
- Definition of franchising, its advantages and disadvantages
- Success factors in developing a franchise for your own business
- Business networking
- How to choose a franchise?
- How to sell your franchise?
- Stories of success and failures in franchising
- Information about opportunities within such programmes as EU4Business, Business People Club and PPV Knowledge Networks
The Ivano-Frankivsk Business Support Centre is part of the EU-funded Network of Business Support Centres, which aims to improve the competitiveness and bankability of Ukrainian SMEs through the provision of business advice and capacity building. It also supports BSOs in 15 regions of Ukraine in setting up a network of EU4Business Business Support Centres (BSCs). At least 30,000 SMEs and entrepreneurs benefit from the project.
