On February 1, the Ukrainian Chamber of Commerce & Industry in Kyiv is hosting a round table on ‘State policy on small business in Ukraine 2018 – challenges and expectations’, to discuss issues of small business development with leaders of employers' associations, Members of Parliament, representatives of central executive bodies, and the media.
The event – organised by the Chamber of Commerce and the State Regulatory Service of Ukraine – aims to discuss the following issues:
- the challenges and problems facing small businesses in Ukraine;
- the results of the implementation of the updated methodology for analysis of the impact of new 2017 regulatory provisions;
- consequences of the approval of the Council of Ministers of Ukraine Resolution “On Approval of Requirements to Business Entities on the Acceptance of Electronic Payment means for payment for goods sold (services rendered)”;
- consequences of the approval of Council of Ministers of Ukraine Resolution No. 231 “On Approval of the list of technically sophisticated goods, that are subject to warranty repair (maintenance) or warranty replacement, for the purpose of cash registers usage”;
- the investment tender for improvement and construction of facilities at public transport stops.
Under its EU4Business initiative, the European Union supports better regulation for business through the Better Regulation Delivery Office (BRDO), an independent regulatory policy advising and delivery institution, created under the EU-funded FORBIZ project.
