Four Armenian companies specialised in Precision Engineering and the Internet of Things (IoT) will attend the Hannover Messe 2018 trade fair and take part in a roadshow in Germany organised by the EU4Business SMEDA project (Support to SME Development in Armenia), from April 17-28, 2018.
The four companies (RAFA Solutions (http://rafasolutions.com/), Bitlis-MEN (www.bitlismen.com), Volterman Inc. (www.volterman.com) and Grovf (www.grovf.com)) were selected by SMEDA following a call for applications. They will be accompanied to Germany by representatives of Free Economic Zones and the Ministry of Economic Development and Investments of Armenia.
Hannover Messe has been the world’s most important industrial technology trade fair and largest capital goods exhibition for years: in 2017 it attracted 6,000 exhibitors, 150 speakers, 225,000 visitors and hosted 1,400 events.
The selected companies will have a chance to network with relevant and potential partners, senior officials, investors and clients not only from Europe but also from all over the world. They will also participate in a two-day training/workshop preparing their participation and presentation at the event, which will be held in February-March 2018.
The EU4Business SMEDA project supports the improvement of the business and investment climate for SMEs in Armenia. It aims to strengthen the private sector, support SME coordination mechanisms, and foster links between research institutions and the private sector, as well as providing access to finance for SMEs.
