On 29 November, the Better Regulation Delivery Office (BRDO), supported by the EU4Business FORBIZ project will present their second analytical study on government transparency at an event in the Ukrainian capital Kyiv.
The research was conducted for the purpose of covering public data on the official websites of ministries and departments. The key focus is how Ukrainian ministries meet the requirements for the transparency and availability of information about their activities. According to the research, they meet these requirements, on average, by 66%.
The event will reveal which ministries and agencies have become leaders in the rating, and who still lags behind.
The research was conducted within the framework of the BRDO Public Dialogue aimed at increasing the efficiency of the regulatory field.
Part of the EU4Business initiative, the EU-funded FORBIZ project supports Ukraine’s reform agenda and its economic recovery by proposing a systemic change to a more business-friendly environment with a particular focus on SMEs. The project seeks to steer a shift in policy towards greater recognition of SMEs and the vital role they play in economic recovery, while addressing the challenge of reducing regulatory burden and lessening risk for businesses.
