Harmonisation of digital markets in focus as Belarus hosts Eastern Partnership dialogue

European Commissioner for European Neighbourhood Policy Johannes Hahn and European Commissioner for Digital Economy and Society Mariya Gabriel will visit Minsk on June 21-22 to participate in the 10th Eastern Partnership Informal Partnership Dialogue.

"On June 21-22, we hold the so-called informal ministerial dialogue within the framework of the Eastern Partnership, which will be attended by representatives of six countries and the European Commission," said Vladimir Makei, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Belarus.

"The meetings will be devoted to the implementation of our idea on the harmonization of the digital markets of the Eastern Partnership countries and the European Union, one part of the meeting will be devoted to the discussion of this topic, and the second part will be the political interaction in this initiative," the minister said.
