A networking event was recently held with the support of an EU-funded project to support the exchange of experience and ideas between returning Moldovan migrants who want to start a business or develop their existing business, and entrepreneurs and service providers in the country.

The event was organised by the International Organisation for Migration (IOM) in partnership with JCI Moldova (Junior Chamber International - World Federation of Young Leaders and Entrepreneurs), and was hosted by the National Agency for Employment (ANOFM), whose specialists came with various and useful information for future entrepreneurs.

They were joined by representatives of the Organization for the Development of Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises Sector (ODIMM), of the Ministry of Health, Labour and Social Protection, of the Diaspora Bureau, of the Graduate Forum, as well as a number of NGOs and agencies active in the field.

Each of them spoke to participants at the meeting about how their organisations could help them in their proposed activities.

The meeting was organised through the project ‘Supporting the Implementation of the Migration and Development Component of the EU - Republic of Moldova Mobility Partnership and Making Its Benefits for the Transnistrian Residents of the Republic of Moldova’, implemented by the IOM Moldova and financed by the EU.
