Ukraine’s Better Regulation Delivery Office (BRDO) has teamed with Oschadbank to support the implementation of business projects for SMEs.

On October 20, during the Get Business Festival, Oleksiy Goncharuk, the Chairman of the BRDO, which is supported by EU4Business FORBIZ project, and the Chairman of Oschadbank signed a memorandum of cooperation for the implementation of business projects in the sphere of small and medium-sized businesses.

"Today we have joined forces with Oschadbank to form a new stratum of high-quality and ‘white’ business, which will become the locomotive of our economy," BRDO Chairman Oleksiy Goncharuk said. "We offer simple answers to complicated issues. Do you want to open a restaurant, a mini bakery, a photo studio or a beauty salon? Go to http://regulation.gov.ua/, select a case and find out how much you need to go through procedures, get references and permissions. Calculate everything and ‘Buduy Svoye’ (https://buduysvoe.com/, Programme for Entrepreneurship Support of OschadBank). And we will be close and will do everything to make the state and its services as convenient as possible.”

"The world is changing. Advanced economies are increasingly developing on the basis of small and medium-sized businesses. The country needs entrepreneurs,” said Andriy Pyshnyy, the Chairman of Oschadbank. “At least 2 million genuine, proactive and courageous - this is exactly the number, calculated by Oshchadbank’s team, that can drastically change the weather in the country's economy. Oshchadbank within the framework of the ‘Buduy Svoye’ programme joins forces with the BRDO to develop such entrepreneurs. Join us!" he enjoined.

The memorandum between BRDO and Oschadbank envisages not only cooperation and implementation of business projects in the sphere of small and medium-sized business, but also improving the business climate, identifying and overcoming the existing barriers in its development, as well as disseminating best practices for SME support, etc.

In the very heart of Kiev, 86 speakers - the best businessmen in the country - shared their experience with over 3,000 active and prospective entrepreneurs at the Get Business Festival.

Funded by the European Union under the EU4Business initiative, the FORBIZ project supports Ukraine’s reform agenda and its economic recovery by proposing a systemic, smart change to a more business-friendly environment with a particular focus on SMEs. The project seeks to steer a shift in policy towards greater recognition of SMEs and the vital role they play in economic recovery, while addressing the challenge of reducing regulatory burden and lessening risk for businesses.
