Belarus thinks it is necessary to revitalize the project activity within the framework of the Eastern Partnership (EaP), Belarusian Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Oleg Kravchenko noted at the 9th annual Eastern Partnership Foreign Ministers' meeting in Chisinau on 10 July.

When speaking during the panel session, Oleg Kravchenko presented Belarus' vision of the prospects for multilateral cooperation within the Eastern Partnership, including in the light of the upcoming Brussels summit. The head of the Belarusian delegation stressed it is necessary to step up the project activity, create more favorable conditions for all the six EaP member states for access to the European market, promote interaction between the EU and the Eurasian Economic Union, strengthen cooperation between the EU, the EaP members and third countries in transport and logistics. The deputy minister also attended a separate meeting between heads of the delegations of the EaP members, the European Commission and the European External Action Service. The sides exchanged views on the current situation in the Middle East and the matters of regional security in Europe.
