With funding from the European Union under its EU4Business initiative, the EBRD worked with Karas, one of the leading fast food chains in Armenia, to formalise their quality control, procedures, and expand the franchise, with the help of an international adviser from the UK, provided under the EU4Business Advice for Small Businesses programme.
