What has the EU4Business initiative achieved between 2009 and 2017? Watch this video to find out how many jobs have been created, how many SME loans disbursed, how many businesses have benefited from consultancy support or training, and in what ways the business environment has improved.

The first annual report of EU4Business, analysing the dynamics and achievements of the initiative over the period 2016-2017, as well as total consolidated figures since the initiative was launched in 2009. The report also outlines a way forward that is based on wide consultations with EU4Business stakeholders.

“It’s a great opportunity to bring together the different stakeholders, to have a common idea about what is happening and to think also about the challenges that everybody is facing and how EU4Business can move forward.”
In the spring of 2018, national round tables were held in each of the six Eastern Partnership countries, bringing together key EU4Business stakeholders – EU Delegations, IFIs, national SME agencies and Ministries of Economy, commercial banks, business associations, key implementers and any other related parties. The conclusions – included in the EU4Business Annual Report – offer a unique perspective following a detailed joint consideration of all the EU4Business pillars and initiatives.
