The Sumy Business Support Centre is organising a workshop on social entrepreneurship to take place on 30 November, with the support of the EBRD, as part of the EU4Business initiative.
Topics to be addressed at the workshop include:
- objectives and approaches of social entrepreneurship;
- successful cases of social entrepreneurship;
- legal basis of social entrepreneurship;
- how to use models for development and analysis of ideas of social entrepreneurship;
- directions of social entrepreneurship in the region.

Speakers include Zynovii Svereda (Head of the Ukrainian Cooperative Alliance), Anatolii Zasoba (President of the Ukrainian association of social entrepreneurship), Bogdan Mosunov (member of the Coordinating Council of the National SME Platform), and Viktoria Makerska (founder of the flower shop “Drevo Zhelanii”).
The Sumy Business Support Centre is part of the EU-funded Network of Business Support Centres, implemented in Ukraine by the EBRD, with the aim of improving improve the competitiveness and bankability of Ukrainian SMEs through the provision of business advice and capacity building. At least 30,000 SMEs and entrepreneurs will benefit from the project.
