A webinar on cost management and pricing is being organised as part of the EU4Business initiative. The event takes place on 10 October in Kyiv (offline) and Sumy (online), organised by the Kyiv and Sumy Business Support Centres with the support of the EBRD.
The training will take place in the format of a workshop, which means participants will work both individually and in groups. The coach will use practical exercises and case studies, so that participants not only learn about procedures of accounting and cost management, as well as pricing methods, but will immediately put the skills acquired into practice.
The webinar will help participants to:
- learn ways of calculating the main financial indicators that can be used in analysing the results of the company;
- learn to read and analyse financial and managerial reporting, as well as learn skills for calculating key financial indicators;
- assess the financial implications of managerial decisions.
The skills that participants will learn can be applied directly in the planning and forecasting of costs, accounting, as well as in the pricing process.
In the longer term, the objective is to increase the efficiency of business. Acquired skills will help to build a productive system of managerial accounting and help SMEs achieve their business goals more rationally.
The Kyiv and Sumy Business Support Centres are part of the EU-funded Network of Business Support Centres, implemented in Ukraine by the EBRD, with the aim of improving improve the competitiveness and bankability of Ukrainian SMEs through the provision of business advice and capacity building. At least 30,000 SMEs and entrepreneurs will benefit from the project.
