Training for auditors in Moldova

This workshop trains auditors to deliver high quality training programs using case studies and audit work papers based on International Standards on Auditing (ISA). The workshop will take stock of good-practice teaching approaches, resources and methodology.  

Training focus on executing tests of controls and substantive procedures. Other topics include:

• Audit documentation, audit evidence and audit sampling methods ;
• Substantive testing and application of ISA in specific circumstances;
• The requirement to seek external confirmation;
• Initial audit engagements and opening balances; and
• The importance of control testing.
