A two-day forum on tourism takes place in Vinnytsia on 16-17 May, organised by the Vinnytsia Business Support Centre, with the support of the EBRD and the EU4Business initiative.
Over the two days, the VinTourism forum will be devoted to the topic of domestic tourism, popularisation of craft, eco-production and transformation into interesting tourist objects, stimulation of gastronomic and green tourism development, restoration of forgotten historical monuments and museums, as well as the creation of tourist routes in the Vinnytsya region.
The first day of the forum includes success stories, the sharing of knowledge and experience of people who own ‘green’ farmsteads, hoteliers, restaurateurs, travel agents and manufacturers of craft and eco products.
The second day of the forum includes work in groups. Participants will address real cases of tourism business together with professional moderators. During the final lecture on fundraising, guests will find out where and how to raise funds for projects.
The forum will help the participants to get:
- information on available funding for tourism projects;
- new ideas and contacts for the implementation of projects;
- tourism business success cases;
- understanding of the main business processes and the peculiarities of tourism;
- information on development of tourism product.
The Vinnytsia Business Support Centre is part of the EU-funded Network of Business Support Centres, implemented in Ukraine by the EBRD, with the aim of improving improve the competitiveness and bankability of Ukrainian SMEs through the provision of business advice and capacity building. At least 30,000 SMEs and entrepreneurs will benefit from the project.
