Study tour to Chile for Ukrainian berry producers

The EU4Business Ready to Trade project is organising a study tour to Chile for Ukrainian berry producers, from 14-19 January.

Exporters, berry pickers and processors will:

  • visit at least 2 largest frozen fruit companies in Chile (www.frule.com and www.comfrut.com)
  • identify those frozen crops that Chile successfully exports, unlike Ukrainian exporters, including cultivated blueberries and blackberries, grapes and cherries;
  • find out about markets where Chile promotes its products considering that cost of production is higher than in Ukraine.       

The Eastern Partnership: Ready to Trade project helps small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) to access new markets with a focus on the EU, helping SMEs identify and comply with quality and standards to meet international requirements, linking them with buyers along the value chain, and providing cluster support.
