East Invest 2 conference participants sought to create a position paper for improving the business environment in Eastern Partnership countries
The East Invest 2 Annual Partner Conference held on 27 October provided a unique opportunity for the Business Support Organisations involved in EU4Business to get an overview of the EU's East Invest 2 project activities and their role in fostering economic cooperation between EU and Eastern Partnership countries. The event also enabled businesses to find new cooperation partners and share their experiences.
The focus of this year's conference was the launch of the process to develop a regional position paper on behalf of the Business Support Organisations, with recommendations for policymakers in the Eastern Partnership countries. Participants held in-depth discussions on the role of public-private dialogue, the importance of the right processes and procedures to successful dialogue taking place, and best practices for making it work.
