On 21 December, the Kropyvnytskyi Business Support Centre is organising a conference on the prospects for developing the beekeeping industry in the Kirovgrad region.
The deadline for registration is 18 December. The event is organised with the support of the EBRD, as part of the EU4Business initiative.
The conference is aimed at owners and managers of SMEs in the beekeeping industry, as well as and beekeeper-beginners.
Ukraine is one of the leading honey exporters in Europe, and development of book-keeping will contribute to economic development in the region.
The purpose of the event is to help beekeepers and their associations increase their efficiency as well as to familiarize them with modern technologies. Issues related to increase of profitability and creation of added value in beekeeping will also be discussed.
The Kropyvnytskyi Business Support Centre is part of the EU-funded Network of Business Support Centres, which aims to improve the competitiveness and bankability of Ukrainian SMEs through the provision of business advice and capacity building. It also supports BSOs in 15 regions of Ukraine in setting up a network of EU4Business Business Support Centres (BSCs). At least 30,000 SMEs and entrepreneurs will benefit from the project.
