SMEs are invited to take part in a workshop on procurement groups taking place in Kramatorsk on 21 June. The deadline for online registration is 14 June.
The workshop on ‘Procurement groups in Ukraine: challenges or perspectives’ is organised by the Donetsk Chamber and Commerce and Industry hosting the Kramatorsk Business Support Centre, together with the EBRD as part of the EU4Business initiative.
The workshop will provide information about the strategy of procurement groups, what economic benefits the participants and suppliers of procurement groups can get, and how to develop a model of discount distribution between procurement group participants.
The workshop aims to:
- demonstrate how procurement groups are developed, and how they operate;
- show how to improve the efficiency of business through participation in procurement groups;
- discuss tools for the development of a procurement group’s strategy and optimal business-model;
- provide practical guidance on legal and tax aspects of the procurement group's activities.
The workshop will be interesting for:
- family business owners;
- ambitious owners or managers of SMEs;
- those who want to save money by working together and improve procurement efficiency.
The Kramatorsk Business Support Centre is part of the EU-funded Network of Business Support Centres, implemented in Ukraine by the EBRD, with the aim of improving improve the competitiveness and bankability of Ukrainian SMEs through the provision of business advice and capacity building. At least 30,000 SMEs and entrepreneurs will benefit from the project.
