On 23 November, the German-Ukrainian Fund (GUF) and Ukrgasbank will hold a press conference on the occasion of the signing of the loan agreement under the SME Support Programme. The programme is funded by the German Government through KfW in cooperation with the EU4Business initiative. This agreement will improve access to finance for Ukrainian SMEs in local currency.

- Juana Mera-Cabello, Head of Economic Cooperation, Social and Regional Development Section, Delegation of the European Union to Ukraine
- Oleg Strynzha, Executive Director of the GUF

- Andrii Kravets, First Deputy Chairman of the Board of Ukrgasbank
The EU4Business SME Finance Facility aims to stimulate local currency lending, especially for micro, small and medium-sized enterprises (MSMEs) in Ukraine that are not earning foreign currency and cannot afford the high costs of borrowing.
