What is this Webinar about?
SME development remains one of the key drivers for promoting economic growth. While implementing broader economic reforms, in 2017 the Ukrainian government has also adopted a targeted framework to support the development of small and medium-sized enterprises.
Throughout 2019, the OECD reviewed the implementation status of the SME development strategy in close co-operation with the Ministry for Development of Economy, Trade and Agriculture. As part of this work, the OECD provided recommendations for future policy action as well as targeted advice on how to build an effective, result-oriented monitoring system.
Join our Peer Review Webinar to discuss the progress made by Ukraine to support its SME sector, and contribute to the conversation about future reform priorities in the wake of the Covid-19 crisis.
This webinar is part of a series of events organised by the OECD Eurasia Competitiveness Programme between late May and end of June. The discussion will be based on a peer review note on the implementation status of Ukraine’s SME development strategy.
