What is this Webinar about?
While it is difficult to estimate the magnitude of the effect of the COVID-19 crisis on the Eastern Partner (EaP) economies and their SMEs, it is clear that it will cause a sharp contraction in domestic output, household spending and international trade. Join our Regional Webinar to discuss the Covid-19 crisis response in the EaP countries. This webinar is the first in a series of events organised by the OECD Eurasia Competitiveness Programme between late May and end of June. The discussion will be based on an OECD regional note on the Covid-19 Crisis Response in the Eastern Partnership.
Why is this Webinar important?
- It serves as a platform for policymakers from the Eastern Partner countries to have an exchange on their crisis response
- Provides discussion on ways to support SMEs
- Reflects on medium and long-term policy priorities to recover from the crisis.
