Regional consultants in Belarus are invited to take part in a mentoring programme, organised by the Belarusian Association of Management Consultants, in cooperation with the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) in the framework of the European Union’s EU4Business initiative
Introducing the project, a business meeting takes place in Minsk on 14 June including a series of presentations, workshops and master-classes, around the theme of ‘Regional Consultants: how to build your work with a mentor’.
The event will help participants to understand whether they need a mentor, and to build personal contact with potential mentors. It will also give them an opportunity to demonstrate that they deserve to participate in the project in the future.
The mentoring project will be implemented from September to December 2019. Participation is on a competitive basis.
A mentor is a person external to your project with extensive consulting experience, who has extensive business and professional contacts. He is ready to help you grow your business.
- The mentor gives advice on solving problems that he once solved himself. In the consulting business this is priceless, for every mistake costs dearly.
- If you are planning to grow your consulting business, the mentor will tell you the right specialists, because he knows the market well and is familiar with all the ‘stars’ in the field.
- Possibly, the most important thing is the business and professional contacts that the mentor can provide.
