The International Trade Centre in close collaboration with AzPromo will support Azerbaijani agribusiness companies to participate in the SIAL trade fair, which will take place from 20 to 25 October 2018 in Paris.
Companies exhibiting at SIAL will benefit from a one-day practical workshop called ‘Improving your results at the SIAL tradeshow through proper preparation, participation and follow up”. The workshop will be conducted on Monday, 24 September at the AzPromo premises. The workshop will address issues such as customer requirements, building company and product profiles, pricing, matchmaking, effective participation at and follow up after the SIAL fair.
The Ready to Trade Project will also help with upgrading and improving the selected SMEs promotional materials and arrange B2B meetings with potential buyers at the fair.
The project will also organize an awareness visit to the SIAL trade fair for the selected SMEs from Nakhchivan. At the fair, the Nakhchivan companies will learn about EU buyer requirements, such as packaging, quality standards, labeling, etc. and gain a better understanding of their competitors.
In order to prepare the Nakhchivan companies, the project will organize, in close collaboration with the Ministry of Economy of Nakhchivan, a one-day practical training session on “assessing companies’ export readiness and using tradeshows to grow business’’, which will be held on 27 September in Nakhchivan.
The Eastern Partnership: Ready to Trade project helps small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) to access new markets with a focus on the EU, helping SMEs identify and comply with quality and standards to meet international requirements, linking them with buyers along the value chain, and providing cluster support.
