On 28-29 November, an EU4Business workshop takes place in Kramatorsk on ‘International trade as a component of SME success’.
The workshop is organised bythe Kramatorsk Business Support Centre based on the Donetsk Chamber of Commerce and Industry, together with the EBRD as part of the EU4Business initiative. The deadline for registration is 26 November.
The training will help participants with the knowledge necessary to analyse foreign economic operations, and provide practical experience of practices in securing foreign contracts, sharing practical tools that will be useful in planning foreign economic transactions.
This workshop will be useful for those who wish to:
- Know all the innovations in the rules of goods coding and classification, understand the differences in commodity nomenclature in different countries;
- Deepen knowledge of INCOTERMS (value of goods calculation and preparing of foreign trade contracts);
- Have greater awareness of international and European contract law;
- Define algorithms of participation in international purchases;
- Learn about the requirements of the European Union and other countries of Europe, Asia and America for goods delivered to these markets;
- Learn about the methods of determining the country of origin and the opportunities provided by different free trade zones.
The Kramatorsk Business Support Centre is part of the EU-funded Network of Business Support Centres, implemented in Ukraine by the EBRD, with the aim of improving improve the competitiveness and bankability of Ukrainian SMEs through the provision of business advice and capacity building. At least 30,000 SMEs and entrepreneurs will benefit from the project.
