
A seminar for entrepreneurs on how to find a business partner in the EU is being organised in Zaporyzhzhia on 4 May by the Delegation of the European Union to Ukraine, in cooperation with the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade and the European Enterprise Network (EEN).
The seminar is one of a series of information activities that the EU Delegation in Ukraine conducts throughout the country. The purpose is to explain the importance of implementing the Association Agreement between Ukraine and the EU, spreading European values and raising the awareness of Ukrainians about the development of relations between Ukraine and the EU.
The main topics to be covered by the event include:
• the benefits of a deep and comprehensive free trade area (DCFTA) for Ukrainian entrepreneurs,
• presentation of the opportunities of the Enterprise Europe Network as an instrument for finding partners abroad. Practical EEN training for partners and investors in Europe,
• European advisory support for small and medium-sized businesses and assistance in establishing business contacts in EU countries,
• opportunities of the EU4Business EU programme and their practical application for working with the European business environment.
EU4Business aims to improve the business climate in Ukraine. It makes it easier for SMEs to get finance, and provides technical support and advisory services to help them align with EU standards, increase exports and benefit from the free trade deal between Ukraine and the EU.
