An eight-day training for Ukrainian clothing enterprises is being organised by the International Trade Centre and the Ukrainian Association of Apparel Industry Enterprises as part of the ‘Eastern Partnership: Ready to Trade’ project, funded by the European Union as part of the EU4Business initiative.
The training is aimed at improving the productivity of Ukrainian export-oriented clothing enterprises, and will be held on August 1-9, 2018 at the premises of the TK-Style LLC Textile-Contact enterprise in Chernihiv.
The eight-day theoretical and practical training aims to teach Ukrainian apparel enterprises the rules for increasing overall labour productivity. Experienced international coaches and experts will prove that each enterprise has certain reserves for increasing productivity of manufacturing and teach Ukrainian specialists how to find and use them. High production efficiency is one of the key conditions for competitiveness in the international market.
The training includes exposure to international experience and modern approaches to the organisation of garment production. Participants will learn how to achieve the level of zero defect of operators, improve manufacturing and efficiency of communication between employees, increase productivity and enhance the system of sewing workflows. The approaches offered at the training can increase staff labour productivity up to 40%.
The Eastern Partnership: Ready to Trade project helps small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) to access new markets with a focus on the EU, helping SMEs identify and comply with quality and standards to meet international requirements, linking them with buyers along the value chain, and providing cluster support.
