The second East invest 2 annual partner conference is a chance for business support organisations to share best practices on issues such as access to markets and finance. It also provides the perfect opportunity for stakeholders to develop links with partners from across the region.
Annual partner conference
The second East Invest II annual partner conference will take place in Yerevan, Armenia on 27 October 2016. The event is a highlight of the year because it brings together representatives of business support organisations (BSOs) from the six Eastern Partnership countries – including Belarus – along with BSOs from the EU member states. It also involves senior officials from the European Commission, financial institutions and East Invest II project team members.
The event provides:
- A unique opportunity for key stakeholders to achieve a better insight into the East Invest II project and its role in economic cooperation between the EU and the Eastern Partnership countries
- A platform to identify possibilities for cooperation with other business support organisations and SME associations from across the region
- A chance to share best practices and achievements under the project
- A forum for discussing business environment related issues
This year’s programme
Apart from being a traditional platform for sharing information and achievements and networking, this year’s event will also see the launch of a new process. This will involve developing regional recommendations from the business community from the Eastern Partnership countries represented at the conference to the policy makers.
In this context, apart from discussing how to set up a successful public private dialogue, there will be also three break-out panels on Access to Markets, Access to Finance and Skills-Innovation.
This year’s annual conference will be opened by senior representatives from the Armenian government, the European Commission and the East Invest 2 team.
