A training on e-commerce for small and medium-sized sewing enterprises in Belarus is being held from 13-17 May by the Belarusian Fund for Financial Support to Entrepreneurs with the support of the International Trade Centre, in the framework of the ‘Ready to Trade’ project, a regional programme funded by the EU across the Eastern Partnership under the EU4Business Initiative.
The training on the ‘Methodology of promoting goods to foreign markets using e-commerce tools’ is aimed at the development of enterprise strategies and practical knowledge in the field of international e-commerce. Participants will gain knowledge of corporate, legal and other requirements for access to the EU market, as well as get practical advice on how to access key payment solutions and international platforms (Amazon, PayPal, etc.)
Participants will be able to develop their own logistics strategy for online trade. Enterprises will be offered recommendations on the compilation and submission of information about the product, packaging, labelling complying to the EU requirements, as well as knowledge and methodology for developing commercial offers for electronic commerce.
The training will be conducted by the e-commerce expert Dr. Mohamed Es Fih. Dr. Es Fih has more than 20 years of international experience and more than 2,000 successful cases. Over four years, Dr. Es Fih managed e-commerce projects at ITC, where he trained hundreds of entrepreneurs on e-trade.
The Ready to Trade project, funded by the European Union under its EU4Business initiative, enables small and medium-sized enterprises to access international markets. In Belarus, the project supports the textile and clothing sector, helping SMEs produce value-added goods and find new buyers in the EU.
