The Dnipro Business Support Centre is organising a workshop on 20 November with the support of EU4Business and the EBRD, on resources, regulations and requirements for EU export.
The purpose of the event is to provide export consultants, export managers and analysts with the tools for providing high-quality services to those Ukrainian companies that want to enter foreign markets. It is also aimed at providing SMEs with an in-depth understanding of export, as well as guidance in processes and access to markets.
The workshop will cover:
- structure and content of the Europa portal;
- Association Agreement and the foundations of the European Single Market;
- requirements for the products being exported;
- resources of business associations, EU legislation portal;
- statistical information;
- technical regulations, standards, CE marking;
- NANDO database;
- RAPEX alert system;
- principles and policies of the EU food safety; RASFF system;
- DG SANCO information resources;
- GFSI and voluntary food safety standards;
- EU intellectual property databases, tax and customs information, international sources of marketing information; EU public procurement database.
The Dnipro Business Support Centre is part of the EU-funded Network of Business Support Centres, implemented in Ukraine by the EBRD, with the aim of improving improve the competitiveness and bankability of Ukrainian SMEs through the provision of business advice and capacity building. At least 30,000 SMEs and entrepreneurs will benefit from the project.
