SMEs in the Kharkiv region have an opportunity to find out about the EU programmes and instruments that are available to support Ukrainian businesses, during an SME Day Forum on 9 April, organised by the Kharkiv Business Support Centre with the EBRD, as part of the EU4Business initiative.
The event (full programme) includes 3 panel discussions:
- Opportunities of European programmes for business support and development in Ukraine;
- Available SME support programmes provided by banks. During the Forum, participants will also be able to conduct B2B negotiations with the representatives of commercial banks from the Kharkiv region and choose the best programmes for development of their business;
- Energy efficiency fund: opportunities for SME development through the thermal modernisation of the residential sector – a panel discussion aimed at informing members and heads of housing cooperatives about opportunities for using energy-efficient technologies.
The purpose of the Forum is to provide information about the opportunities offered by European programmes and instruments for supporting and developing business in Ukraine. Participants will be able to communicate with representatives of the EU Delegation to Ukraine, Kharkiv Region State Administration, EBRD, EIB, EPO, UNDP and commercial banks of the Kharkiv region.
The Kharkiv Business Support Centre is part of the EU-funded Network of Business Support Centres, which aims to improve the competitiveness and bankability of Ukrainian SMEs through the provision of business advice and capacity building. It also supports BSOs in 15 regions of Ukraine in setting up a network of EU4Business Business Support Centres (BSCs). At least 30,000 SMEs and entrepreneurs will benefit from the project.
