The Demo Day of the third batch of graduates of the EU-funded Armenia Start-up Academy will take place on January 19, from6-8.30pm at the American University of Armenia in Yerevan.
The Academy is a game-changing entrepreneurship and start-up education programme, which, with the support of the European Union, shapes Armenia’s innovative future.
Fifty-two start-ups and 121 entrepreneurs were involved through the three cycles of the innovative three-month programme. They had the chance to benefit from more than 400 one-on-one meetings, 117 sessions, workshops, breakfasts and dinners delivered by a network of 60+ high profile professionals and mentors spanning from Australia to Silicon Valley.
During the Demo Day, there will be an opportunity to get to know the start-ups that are ‘graduating’ as the third generation from the Academy. The start-ups will pitch in front of the interested investors, friends and the community. Afterwards, it will be possible to meet with the start-ups in their individual booths.
The Armenia Startup Academy is a Catalyst Foundation project implemented in the framework of the 'Support to SME Development' (EU-SMEDA) Project, which is co-funded under the EU4Business initiative by the European Union and the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) and implemented by GIZ’s Private Sector Development in South Caucasus Programme.
